Terms of Use

By creating an account or using Fé Viva, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. What Fé Viva is

Fé Viva is a Bible reading, devotional, guided prayer, and study (Living Atlas) app, developed and operated by OiAlfredTech. Part of the content is free forever; another part may require a Fé Viva Plus subscription.

2. Your account

This first version of Fé Viva is intended exclusively for people aged 18 or older.

You can use the app with an anonymous account (tied only to your device) or create an account with email and password. You're responsible for keeping your password secret and for everything that happens on your account. Anonymous accounts have no recovery path: if you uninstall the app or switch devices without creating a real account, you lose access to your progress.

You can delete your account directly in the app (Profile → Privacy → Delete my account) or start from the public deletion page. If a provider link exists, your confirmation authorizes Fé Viva to cancel the Stripe subscription immediately and/or stop renewal on Google Play, and records your forfeiture of remaining access. The local account is deleted only after every linked provider confirms; if any request fails, it is preserved for another attempt.

3. Content you create and share

Journal entries, photos, prayer requests, updates, testimonies, highlights, reading progress, ranking nickname, groups, materials, and community actions remain yours — we don't claim ownership over this content. You grant us a non-exclusive license limited to what is needed to host, process, display according to your privacy choice, moderate, and remove that content as part of the app's operation and safety.

Before appearing in the ranking or joining a social surface — group, material, shared request, testimony, or community action — you must accept the current Community Rules. The app records the version and date of that acceptance. A material change to the rules may require renewed acceptance.

4. Acceptable use

By using Fé Viva, you agree not to:

• attempt to access other people's accounts or data;
• exploit technical flaws in the app or server to gain unauthorized access to paid features;
• use the app for unlawful purposes or to harass others;
• publish hate, threats, stalking, sexual content or child exploitation, encouragement of violence, fraud, spam, another person's personal data, or content that infringes copyright;
• publish names, photos, diagnoses, locations, or other identifying data about minors; or disclose medical records, phone numbers, addresses, or sensitive information about third parties without authorization;
• impersonate another person or religious leader, manipulate reports, or attempt to bypass blocks or moderation measures;
• reverse-engineer the app with intent to bypass usage or payment limits.

5. Community safety and moderation

Community Rules version: 2026-08-31.1.

Participants can report groups, materials, prayer requests, testimonies, or people and block other people directly in the app. Community actions are restricted to the group and managed by its leadership. Reports are reviewed confidentially; submitting one does not guarantee a particular outcome.

We may limit visibility, remove content, restrict features, suspend, or terminate accounts when there is a violation of these rules, a community-safety risk, or a legal obligation. We keep audit records and provide tech@oialfred.com for appeals. Emergencies and crimes should also be reported to the appropriate authorities.

6. Biblical and editorial content

Bible translations, patristic commentary, cross-references, and other editorial content (Living Atlas, Catechism, prayers) are licensed or produced for use within the app. This content may not be bulk-extracted, redistributed, or used to train other products without authorization.

7. Disclaimer

Fé Viva is a tool to support Bible reading, personal devotion, and study — it does not replace pastoral, spiritual, psychological, or professional medical counseling. In case of personal crisis or emergency, seek professional help or your local emergency services.

The app is provided "as is." We do our best to keep content accurate and the service available, but we don't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted.

8. Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate sections 4 and 5 of these terms.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated within the app.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil.
